This year, we celebrate the 15th year of our Denim & Diamonds campaign. As a community, we have raised more than $1,000,000 during the years that have been used to support high quality healthcare initiatives at Newman Regional Health. Through the generous contributions of our sponsors and participants, we have been able to acquire advanced medical technology such as state-of-the-art anesthesia machines, c-arms for imaging, breast biopsy equipment, robot-assisted surgical devices and to construct the only Simulated Living Suite for medical rehabilitation in a critical access hospital in Kansas. Together, we have helped make Newman Regional Health the most clinically capable community hospital in the state, and one of the top 100 community hospitals in the nation.

During the next few months, our community will be invited to participate in several fundraising efforts that empower Newman Regional Health to live out our mission. Your participation is a part of your legacy of community support and investment, and your financial support directly contributes to better healthcare outcomes, right here, for all.

Proceeds from this signature year for Denim & Diamonds are designated to prove for several immediate projects and future purchases and improvements in the facility. One such project is the purchase and installation of the Stryker Mako robotic surgical device for improved orthopedic procedures where patients have better outcomes with less pain and less recovery time. We will embark on a mission of bringing state-of-the-art imaging through the construction of a Radiology Fluoroscopy Room that provides advanced imaging through the use of the Afga DR 800 Multi-tool that improves patient experiences and offers the potential of lower radiation dosing. Another important project includes replacing the current Infant Security System that helps to protect newborns from abduction and harm. The funds from the 15th year of Denim & Diamonds will be used to fulfill our mission and provide for the greatest areas of needs.
