I hope you have been able to stay apprised of our news in February. We acknowledged National Heart Month with a moving story from one of our community members. The story illustrates our purpose and honors the skill and responsiveness of our hospital team members. Our community shares a collection of stories in which Newman Regional Health is the backdrop. These stories share the dedication of our team connecting with patients and ensuring each unique individual has the best outcome and experience possible. As we move forward, we will continue to embody the responsibility of care and celebrate the stories of our community.
Over the past few weeks, we were pleased to provide a brief update about noteworthy topics going on around our hospital. We shared our staff’s loyal commitment to service, and the many ways we are focused on partnerships and programs that support the needs within our community.
We have also shared aspects of our strategic planning work. Newman Regional Health is actively evaluating our current strengths, opportunities, and future aspirations. We recognize involving our community during our strategic planning process is of utmost importance. Later this month we will be engaging stakeholders representing different sectors from across our community. The critical voices of our medical staff, employees, and community will create a robust narrative of what we aim to be a decade from now. These sessions allow us to align our services with the specific needs and preferences of the community. Everyone’s voice is important during this process.
