Newman Regional Health Expands Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Team with Addition of Dylan Sinclair, PA-C, and Matt Buhrle, ATC, DC
Emporia, KS—Newman Regional Health is proud to welcome Dylan Sinclair, PA-C, and Matt Buhrle, ATC, DC, to its growing Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team. These two highly skilled healthcare professionals bring unique experience, energy, and dedication to the care of our patients and local athletic community.
Dylan Sinclair, PA-C is a familiar face to many at Newman Regional Health, having previously worked as a Medical Assistant in our Orthopedics, Cardiology, and Urgent Care departments. We are thrilled to welcome him back, this time in a new role as a Physician Assistant in Orthopedics.
Dylan earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Wichita State University. He most recently worked as a PA at AFC Urgent Care in Wichita, where he treated a wide range of acute conditions, performed procedures such as suturing and splinting, and collaborated closely with clinical staff and supervising physicians. His clinical training also includes rotations in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Trauma/Surgery, Pediatrics, Cardiology, and Orthopedics.
Known for his strong work ethic and a deep passion for healthcare, Dylan brings both compassion and clinical excellence to our orthopedic team. Please join us in welcoming him back to the Newman Regional Health family.
Matt Buhrle, ATC, DC joins the team as a Certified Athletic Trainer and Doctor of Chiropractic, bringing extensive experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation, performance enhancement, and manual therapy. Matt is one of only three dual-licensed Chiropractors/Athletic Trainers in the state of Kansas, making him a truly unique asset to both our clinical team and the local athletic community.
Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Fort Hays State University in 2021 and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland University – Kansas City in 2024. He is also certified in:
- Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) from Functional Movement Systems
- Dry Needling through Dry Needle Pro
- Certified Medical Examiner by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)
Matt has worked with athletes at all levels, from youth sports to collegiate and professional settings, providing hands-on care that emphasizes both short-term recovery and long-term wellness. His role at Newman Regional Health will focus on supporting orthopedic patients throughout their rehabilitation and offering athletic training services to area schools and teams. In addition, Matt is looking forward to providing both Athletic Training and Chiropractic services to the Lyon County area.
