Newman Regional Health Enhances Patient Portal with New Features for Easier Access to Health Records 

Newman Regional Health is excited to announce significant updates to their patient portal, MHealth, powered by MEDITECH Expanse. These enhancements make it even easier for patients and families to manage their healthcare securely and conveniently from any location with internet access. Existing patients using their patient portal will notice the change in appearance beginning the third week of January.  

The upgraded portal, accessible via mobile devices or desktop computers, now offers expanded functionality to improve the patient experience: 

• Streamlined Scheduling & Pre-Registration: Patients can request Primary Care appointments, direct book Express Care appointments, complete questionnaires, and update insurance details before arriving. 
• Bill Pay: Patients can easily view and pay bills for Newman Regional Health related services.  
• Centralized Calendar View: View all clinical and long-term care social appointments in one easy-to-read format. 
• Comprehensive Health Access: Review provider notes, radiology reports, and lab results; securely message providers; and request prescription renewals. 
• Family & Caregiver Access: Share portal access with loved ones to help manage appointments, bills, and inpatient updates.
