Free Laundry Opportunity for Emporia Community

Newman Regional Health’s Community Care Team forms partnership to give community members the opportunity to launder for free.

On Thursday, August 15th the Newman Regional Health Community Care Team, The United Way of the Flint Hills, Flint Hills Technical College, and Laundry Land APC in Emporia will continue a program to provide the means to wash clothes and bedding for low-income and/or no-income families and person(s).

Laundry Land APC will open the free laundry event at 9:00 AM.
The free laundry event is scheduled to be held every third Thursday of the month from 9 am till noon with the last load beginning at 11:15. There is a 5-load limit for any family group or individual. The use of washing machines, dryers and laundry detergent is provided free of charge. Laundry Land at 622 E 6th Ave. Emporia, KS will provide access to their machines for the free laundry event. You do not need to make a reservation, just show up at the laundromat.
