Bryce Heitman is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with Newman Regional Health Medical Partners Family Medicine. Dr. Heitman’s practice philosophy is centered around his personal belief that “that family medicine is about developing relationships with your patients over time.”
Dr. Heitman believes that there is a distinct privilege to care for people through the whole spectrum of their lives, “From newborn care, pediatrics, adult and geriatric medicine-that is what makes us unique, we specialize in patients!”
Dr. Heitman served more than a decade in the service of our country in the U.S. Army and completed his medical residency at the Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. He was deployed to Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne from 2010-2011.
Dr. Heitman and his wife Juli, RN Director of Nursing at Flinthills Tech College LPN program, have been very active with the South Lyon County Honor Flight program since 2015. They have served as their medical support when these Veterans travel to Washington, DC to be able to see their memorials.
Dr. Heitman is a self-described bibliophile who treasures reading and collecting books about early American history as well as books about American military conflicts.

His nurse Darcy, always on key and also pretty fabulous at her job. Together Dr. Heitman and Darcy make the perfect team and have the greatest bedside manor for my tempramental aging mother!
