Ali Wazir, MD

Dr. Wazir received his medical education at Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his medical oncology and hematology fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He completed his internal medicine residency at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, where he was chief resident of his program. Dr. Wazir is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Wazir specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of all solid cancer types, leukemias, and lymphomas. He also diagnoses and treats benign hematological medical conditions.

Some of Dr. Wazir’s professional memberships include the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the American Society of Hematology (ASH), and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
