The Newman Regional Health Legacy Fund was established to provide support for the following areas of Newman Regional Health. Donors may select which area receives their gift:

  • Newman Regional Health - A general fund for Newman Regional Health to use for improvements such as facility updates, medical research, clinic needs, implementation of new programs, or recruitment of new providers.
  • Innovative Community Health Ventures - Community health education initiatives that reach a wide range of Lyon and surrounding counties. Education may center around first aid, health insurance, nutrition, parenting, home safety, heart health, physical therapy, and more.
  • Continuing Education - Funding for clinical and support staff to continue their education through activities such as conferences, conventions, workshops, scholarships, or other professional programs.
  • Advancing Technology - Developing access to new equipment and technology for advanced medical practices.
  • Emergency Department -Continued advancements to meet the emergent needs of our patients.
  • Maternity/Birthing Center -A fund for Newman Regional Health to use for improvements, pre/post-natal care, clinic needs, and implementation of new programs.
  • Cardiology - A fund for Newman Regional Health to enhance cardiology services through advanced technology and/or training.

Newman Regional Health Legacy Funds are managed by the Emporia Community Foundation (ECF). ECF is able to receive a variety of gifts for legacy funds including assets from a will or trust, life insurance benefits, IRAs, 401(k) plans, real estate, stocks and more.
