Nursing Careers
At Newman Regional Health, nurses are the heart of our care. Whether you’re beginning your career or advancing to the next level, you’ll find a supportive environment, advanced technology, and a team that values compassion, skill, and professional growth.
Our nursing leadership team comes from a background of hands-on care and understands the daily challenges facing today’s nursing environment. We work hard to maintain a low nurse-to-patient ratio, schedule flexible hours, provide a weekend work program, and continuously expand the role of nurses in clinical activities. Depending upon your own career focus, our nurses have opportunities in our birthing center, family medicine, pediatrics, wound care, express/urgent care, medical/surgical departments, inpatient rehabilitation, hospice and more.
Nursing Positions at Newman Regional Health
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT)
CNAs and PCTs provide essential hands-on care, assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility. They play a vital role in supporting nurses and ensuring patients’ comfort and well-being.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
LPNs monitor patient health, administer medications, communicate with patients and families, and assist with treatment plans under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. They are key to maintaining quality patient care across hospital and clinic settings.
Registered Nurse (RN)
RNs coordinate and provide comprehensive patient care, from assessing health needs and developing care plans to administering treatments and educating patients and families. Their expertise and leadership are central to every aspect of healthcare delivery.
