Teresa Nunez, MD

Teresa Nunez, MD entered the practice of medicine in 2018 following a successful business career in the aircraft and oil industries in Wichita.

She felt compelled to care for others and attended both Wichita State and The University of Kansas School of Medicine in Salina, graduating with her medical degree in 2018. She completed her education at the Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency program in 2021.

She sums up her care philosophy, “I believe that health care is a cooperative effort between the physician and the patients they care for. I strive to work closely with patients to develop an optimal plan of care for them by helping them understand the treatment options available and choose the option that best helps them achieve their health and lifestyle goals within their own personal preferences and comfort level.”

Dr. Nunez is a native of Kansas and has resided predominantly in Kansas. She has a son and a daughter in college. She enjoys traveling, camping, sewing, woodworking, and spending time with her family.
