As our hospital, clinics, and community re-open, we want to assure you that Newman Regional Health and Newman Regional Health Medical Partners is ready to keep patients and staff safe while providing the care needed. Since mid-March, we have worked hard to implement and refine strategies and procedures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to keep our patients and staff safe from exposure to COVID-19 while in our hospital and clinics. Those strategies and procedures remain in place and will continue to be our focus as we welcome our patients back.
We are slowly moving forward to fully reopen our facilities to all services and specialties while staying consistent with local and statewide executive orders as well as Governor Kelly’s guidance “Ad Astra: A Plan to Reopen Kansas”. We want you to know that we take patient and staff health and safety seriously and it remains a top priority for our healthcare team. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe environment in which our patients, visitors, and team members feel comfortable.
In an effort to ensure our community feels informed and educated, we have provided some guidance on the precautions our facility has implemented in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As folks visit our facility, you can expect to see these precautions in place today and well after the day we have fully re-implemented all of our services.
