(Emporia, KS) — Newman Regional Health announced today that COVID-19 vaccination appointments are available for aged 6 months and older, effective July 1, 2022.
The FDA has given emergency use authorization to the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines for children 6 months of age and older. Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines are available, by appointment only, for Newman Regional Health Medical Partners patients aged 6 months and up. For those aged 18 years and older, Johnson & Johnson are also available. Moderna was previously approved for use in adults ages 18 and older, and Pfizer for those age 5 and older.
