Auxiliary Scholarship Fund General Overview
Beginning Students
Students should select the Scholarship Application for Beginning Students if they are just beginning their education in healthcare. It should be used for applicants with NO job/work experience in a healthcare field. Applicants that should use this checklist include all graduating high school seniors/first semester college students. If a student has earned a CNA, but has no work experience in that area, use this checklist. Also, this checklist should be used for applicants making career changes into healthcare fields from non-health related jobs.

Continuing Students
Students should select the Scholarship for Continuing Students if applicants are continuing their healthcare education or have previously been employed in a healthcare field. If a student has earned a CNA, and has work experience in that area, use this checklist. Others using this checklist would include those making a career change from one health care field to another. Students pursuing a college degree should have referees use this checklist if they have completed one semester or more.
