MRI Scanning MachineMagnetic Resonance Imaging, also known as MRI, produces images of your body's organs and tissues without discomfort, exposure to radiation, or injecting foreign substances in your body. It uses a powerful magnetic field and radio frequency to produce computerized pictures. It is advantageous in determining soft tissue disorders, including cartilage and ligament tears and hermiated disks, but it also can be helpful in diagnosing bone disorders such as tumors.

Designed with the patient in mind, out Infinion 1.5T ultra-short bore MRI system installed in October, 2002, is the shortest, most open high field scanner available. That means a comfortable exam for you and the best possible images for your doctor. Our MRI has five times the power of traditional open MR systems to find abnormalities that could otherwise be missed. Exams are completed in half the time of a traditional open MRI. Its ultra short bore decreases that "claustrophic" feeling.

The following images have been produced by a 1.5T ultra-short bore MRI system.
