Newman’s eight bed ICU Department is equipped with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment. We can provide services for cardiac related problems from a heart attack and temporary pacemaker to the management of cardiogenic shock and ventilator support. Our services cover surgical patients such as vascular repairs and major abdominal needs, as well as a wide range of acute medical patients. Post anesthesia recovery is provided as needed. ICU nurses are specially trained in coronary care, hemodynamic monitoring, and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). The practice of total patient care allows a close rapport with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare members.
