An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a counseling service for employees and their eligible family members who are experiencing personal or work place problems. Perhaps now more than ever, stress on and off the job pose a threat to the health and productivity of your employees. Nationwide, an estimated 18% of employees face personal problems which lead to increased use of healthcare benefits, worker’s compensation claims, theft, absenteeism, and decreased productivity.
