| This outpatient program is designed for adults diagnosed with diabetes or the parents of children with diabetes seeking knowledge of this condition. Since family support and involvement are important, family members and their support person(s) are encouraged to attend with the participant. The program has been developed to provide education and guidance specifically tailored to the needs of each individual. The Diabetes Education team is made up of professionals who have an interest and additional education in diabetes management. To enroll in this program, an order and individualized treatment plan is needed from your physician. You may participate in either the entire program or the specific segments which have been ordered by your physician. Day and evening classes are available.
