Newman Regional Health’s urgent care center, Newman Express Care, is located in the southwest corner of Flinthills Mall, with the front entrance facing south toward 15th Avenue. The 1,625 square foot space allows for three examination rooms with one minor procedure room. The waiting area will hold ten people comfortably.

Newman Express Care is open seven days a week, excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hours of operation are:
Monday – Friday, 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Saturday-Sunday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
Newman Express Care provides fast, convenient care for non-emergency illnesses to Emporia and the surrounding communities. The clinic is not for serious, life-threatening conditions.
Examples of care that is provided at Newman Express Care include:
- Treatment of minor medical conditions
- Sore throats
- Earaches
- Lacerations
- Sprains/strains
- Minor on-the-job injuries
- Physicals
You will find there are several advantages to using Newman Express Care versus the Emergency Room when your illness is minor, including lower cost, shorter wait times, and convenience. Patients will be seen on a first come, first serve basis. No appointments are needed.
