The demolition of the space, which began in January, included removal of all the old refrigeration equipment that served the former supermarket. Concrete floors were opened up for the installation of underground sanitary sewer and the new openings in the exterior walls for windows and doors have been completed.

Newman Regional Health facilities staff guides a new HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) unit down to the rooftop of the Flinthills Mall. The new HVAC system will provide climate control for Newman Express Care, slated to open later this spring.

Insulation is stapled around duct work in the ceiling of the building that will house Newman Express Care.
Metal tracks are built and raised for walls for one of the four exam rooms.
