Michael Yost, DO

Dr. Michael Yost moved to Emporia from Pratt, KS, where he was in practice at the South Central Kansas Bone & Joint Center with Pratt Regional Medical Center. He also joined Newman Orthopedics in 2007. He received his doctor of osteopathy from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI. He then fulfilled his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.

In addition, Dr. Yost completed fellowships in sports medicine and shoulder and elbow surgery at the Florida Institute of Orthopaedics in Tampa. His special interests are sports medicine and the shoulder and elbow. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Society and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 Helena I. Stormont, ARNP

Helena I. Stormont, ARNP started at Newman Regional Health in January, 2009.  She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Emporia State Univerity in Empora, KS and later received her Masters of Science in Nuring from Wichita State University in Wichita, KS.  She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Kansas State Nurses Association.

Lindsay Garrett, PA-C

Lindsay Garrett, PA-C started at Newman Regional Health in August, 2010.  She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Emporia State Univerity in Empora, KS and later received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Wichita State University in Wichita, KS.  Lindsay completed her internship at Newman Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Emporia.  She is a member of the Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
