Diabetes Education Program

Diabetes education is for those who want to learn how to manage diabetes and make healthy choices for living with diabetes. Adults with diabetes and their support person are encouraged to enroll. Diabetes education provides education and guidance specifically tailored to the needs of each individual.

Corporate First Aid and CPR Classes

American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED Corporate classes are taught as needed at Newman Regional Health. Newman Regional Health’s certified staff instructs the classes.

Heartsaver First Aid with Adult / Child / Infant CPR and AED:

  • Choking
  • Breathing emergencies
  • Severe allergic reactions
  • Medical emergencies (chest pain, diabetes, stroke, etc.)
  • Bleeding
  • Fractures, strains, sprains
  • Environmental emergencies (bites, poisoning, temperature-related emergencies)
  • Adult/child/infant CPR
  • AED use (automated external defibrillator)
